At the October 15 meeting of the Park Ridge Public Library Board of Trustees, Lauren Rapisand was honored with a proclamation and award for her six years of service as a Library trustee.
During her time on the board, Rapisand served two terms as board president, as well as one term as vice president and one as secretary. She served on the Communications & Development, Personnel, and Planning & Operations committees in various capacities.
“I am so thankful to have been able to serve on the Library board for the past six years,” said Rapisand. “Our library is something to be proud of and I’m honored to have played a part. The library is truly the backbone of our community. I was able to serve with wonderful people and support our amazing staff.”
Since finishing her last term, she has joined the board of the Friends of the Park Ridge Library, demonstrating her full commitment to the Library.
