The Friends of the Park Ridge Library will host a Summer Pop-up Book Sale at the Library on Saturday, July 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the Library. The outdoor sale offers people attending the Taste of Park Ridge the opportunity to shop for gently used books, CDs and DVDs at low prices.
The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to the support of the Library. Through an annual membership drive and several large book sales, the Friends raise money for special programs, collections and services that enhance the Library and benefit the community. Each year the Friends contribute more than $20,000 to the Library. Patrons can join the Friends of the Library starting at $25 for an individual membership. Memberships may be purchased at the sale or online.
