Book Madness is Back

Librarian moves tiny book covers across a banner to show how the book is faring in a tournament-format contest that allows kids to vote for their favorite book.
Miss Catherine updates the Book Madness brackets weekly.

This month, “Madness” means something a little different in the Children’s department at the library. It’s time for kids up to grade 5 to cast their votes for which nonfiction book or which series they’d rather read in this year’s bracket contest.

Printable brackets can be found on the Book Madness page, but voting takes place online for both Nonfiction and the Series categories. Access the online forms on the Book Madness page. You can also see who’s advancing each week on the big banners in the Children’s department.

Every week, we will pick a participant to win a small raffle prize. Brackets are just for fun! Fill out yours and follow along to see how many of your choices advance to the next round. Follow us on social media to see Miss Catherine present the highlights of which books are advancing to the finals each week!
